Rico Blanco: Favorite MYX Live Performance MYX Awards 2010

Congratulations to Rico Blanco for winning the Favorite MYX Live Performance Award at the MYX Awards 2010. He also won Favorite Male Artist. I remember he was given a BEST MALE Award by RX93.1 while taping this.

Thank you to Warner Music since I just happened to be at the MYX Live taping by accident (or is this a different MYX Live performance? haha). We all came from a video shoot of another Warner artist earlier that day and I didn’t have a ride home (as Chen said, “Sumama ka na samin, punta tayong ABS”). I just realized it was Rico’s taping when I got there.

It was a fun show. There were violinists and a saxophonist, practically an orchestra if put together with his awesome touring band – Ricci Gurango on bass, Robert Dela Cruz on drums and Norby David on guitars. He sang “Your Universe” twice due to the massive crowd request (yes you can have audiences inside the studio these days).

I was able to come up with new favorite photos of mine that evening, yay.
