MUSIC PHOTOGRAPHY
July 9. 2010 — Funny, I had NO CAMERA at all when I was called to shoot at 6:30pm. I called up a friend to ask him if I could borrow his camera. Luckily he just got out of the house and he could only arrive around 7-ish, which gave me about 30 minutes to dress up, fix my lenses and look for the camera accessories.
I was cleaning house the whole day so in panic I don’t really know where I placed the camera strap. I forgot I also left 1 battery in Francis’ bag and also my Sandisk CF. He was in Ortigas, waiting to interview Claudio of Coheed and Cambria. I found an old Transcend 4GB CF Card lying around somewhere and my spare battery.
My friend arrived from Mandaluyong and I got his camera, inserted my CF and battery and headed out to MOA immediately. It was 7:15 pm on a Friday! Haha!
So I took pictures without a strap and the stupid CF card gave the camera the hardest time to load pictures. The camera which buffered the pictures that I took became a pain in the ass at a time when you’re dealing with taking pictures of a good dancer. My shutter thought it was listening to tinikling.
After 2 songs, we were escorted out and now I’m home.
6 hours ago I thought I was going to sleep early.
Thank you very much again, Haw. Remember the quote, parang gimik lang yan sa barkada mo, sa una tinatamad ka pang umalis, pero pagdating ng hatinggabi ayaw mo na umuwi, haha.

The concert of Usher last night was really great.. The money that I paid is really sulit.. I love Usher. He’s the best.. Hope there’s a fireworks after his last song… But everything was really awesome..
